Standardized Steel-Consultation offers three packages (totally customizable to your organization's needs).
- We would act as a full blown consultant, where we would develop, write, instruct, and assist in implementing a QMS for your company. For this service, our price ranges from
$15K to $35K depending on the size and complexity of your company (base price for this service, $15K).
- We would act as an upgrade consultant, where we would take your existing QMS document and change it to the new AISC criteria. This price ranges from $10K to $15K (base price for this service, $10K).
- We would act as a technical writer, where we would observe your documentation and interview your staff and note responses. The price range for this service is between $5K and $10K (base price for this service, $5K).
All three services will include a non-invasive evaluation of your day-to-day operations.

Steel Fab, Inc. had the opportunity to work with Dean Applegreen in our quest to achieve certification under the requirements of the new AISC building standard criteria. While working with us, Mr. Applegreen was able to understand our process flow, which allowed him to adequately document and record our methods in the required procedures and quality manual. His understanding of the certification requirements also allowed us to make the applicable adjustments or changes so we could meet the AISC criteria.
While making these modifications, he suggested examples or ideas that helped us make improvements in our systems while not creating burdens. This was important to us since we did not want to make radical changes in our methods, nor have to undertake extensive personnel changes.
Regarding personnel, Dean was very attentive to their input and was able to train people in a manner they understood. Doing so made any transition in methods or documentation fluid to our everyday work efforts.
As regards quality of work, Dean effectively produced all the procedures and quality manual documentation that were precise to our needs and functions.
The final point we wish to convey is the timing of work that Dean performed. All materials were reviewed, modified as needed, formally documented, and published in a very efficient manner. Such process allowed his work to be in alignment with our needs and was transparent in the day-to-day operations as required.
As a result of his efforts, we recommend Dean and his work for any company wishing to achieve AISC certification or wanting to make improvements in their quality management system.
